I would like to begin by thanking everyone who showed up for the highway cleanup on Saturday, October 20th.  There were a dozen of us altogether, the second biggest turnout ever.  What a blast!  We had the pleasure of admiring our new white signs with blue lettering.  We have been doing this twice a year now since 1996.  Breakfast was yummy at Little Oscar's, and we found the usual entertaining items from money to lottery tickets (not winners).  Unfortunately nobody found any old Saab parts?!  Come on Aaron, did you run out of inventory or something?  Afterwards,  the bulk of the crew headed off towards Lake City for lunch.  Where they ended up after that, God only knows.

For a program Thursday night, Dean Nelson will give a mini rally school (if he can make it, 9:00?) given that the notorious Il Diavolo is being run Saturday at 5:00 PM, at Godfather's Pizza in Red Wing.  Ed Solstadt is the rallymaster and can be contacted at,612-822-0569.  Also, if Eric Johnson can attend, he will give the club a brief update on his European rally adventure with his RAC winning model 96.

I am now officially asking everyone for content to post on our new club website!  Everything from pictures, to personal stories, to tech tips, to classifieds are welcome.  If you have any ideas, those are very welcome also.  It will be decided by Thursday night who you can forward these items to.  A big thanks to Jason Erickson for his efforts.

See you at the meeting!
