Aloha! I hope everyone
has been enjoying the winter weather we finally received. Snow and
cold? What's that? Maybe this is a little incentive to put some
"heat" into your love life this month??
It appears as though there
will be no ice trials this season. (awwww) The weather just hasn't
been cooperating and as a result, neither has the sherrif's department.
There are, however, a couple of really neat rallies coming up soon! Dean
can fill us in on all of the exciting details.
Max will be giving a
presentation this month (February 7th) on aeronautical navigation and how
it can be applied to rallying. Try and show up a little early, as this
will prove to be very educational and entertaining.
There was a fix-it-yourself
day at Meyer Garage on January 26th. Only a handfull showed up, but
it was a fun time anyway. Make sure you don't miss the next event this
month on Saturday, February 23rd. The earlier you show up the
better. It's not very often most of us get the opportunity to use a lift
and heated garage space in the middle of winter! Call Meyer Garage for
details @ 1-888-722-2246.
Visited the club website
lately? It's changing all the time. Go to www.mnsaabclub.org and put in your
two cents worth. Photos and other Saab related stuff always welcome.
The club treasury balance
stands at $556.52 according to Shane. He also passes along this
note; "I just wanted to remind those members who may be holding SAAB club
stock in their retirement portfolios that they should read the restrictions
regarding selling of said stock, regardless of what options board members may be
excercising with their shares." Thanks for the heads up Mr. Donahue.
