I know
that the Vice-Presidential debate may offer compelling theater, but the first
Thursday of the month is tomorrow, and the monthly meeting of the Minnesota
Saab Club is upon us.
1. October
Meeting -- still at Gabe's-by-the-Park
The
October meeting is tomorrow evening, October 2nd, at 7:30 pm, at the usual
location -- Gabe's-by-the-Park, 991 North Lexington Parkway, St
Paul MN 55103.
Gabe's is
on the NE corner of Lexington and Energy Park Drive. It is easily
accessible from I-94 (go north off the Lexington exit); or from Highway 280
(east off the Energy Park Drive exit, past Snelling).

2. It's
a Picture Show !
I will be
showing pictures from this year's national Saab Owners' Convention, which was
held outside of Boston August 21-24. There were many awesome and rare
Saabs in attendance. SaabUSA brought the BioHybrid concept car to the
show, along with an amazing assortment from the GM Heritage Collection,
including a 1978 99 Turbo and a black 1985 900 SPG.
